One Of A Kind Bags
I was a fashion model in the 1980’s and worked for many of the top designers in Paris, Milan and New York. I walked on runways for brands like Ralph Lauren, Halston, Donna Karan, Chanel, and Valentino.
When I became a mother of twins, I retired from the fashion industry and constantly came up with new craft ideas to inspire my children’s creativity. My crafts incorporated my love for fabrics, involving unique and up-cycled materials, always with an element of whimsy.
When I was a child, I used to sew my own clothes. I always wanted to create something unique - something special.
I discovered Bottomless Closet, a non-profit that empowers women in need to enter the workforce and achieve success in New York City. I’ve enjoyed creating one of a kind tote bags for their clients. So far, I’ve donated over two hundred bags, some of which you can view in the gallery below.
